Coffee #7
Here is a coffee package solution that I came up with for a project. The brief was about a real tea company wanted to add a coffee line.

One of These Things is Not Like the Other
So... I have found the best pancake mix package ever!
They also happen to be the best tasting pancakes ever!
If you haven't guessed it's the one on the left.
Although these pancakes are probably no the best for you (they are made with buttermilk chocolate and bacon) they taste fantastic and there is a long recipe card on the inside that helps you make pancakes. I'm not just talking about an easy as 1. 2. 3. recipe. I thought I knew how to make pancakes and i was wrong. They go through all of the painstaking techniques, that when used really do help make these the best pancakes ever!
Anyway, I would say that this design is a great minimalist design which retains plenty of it's balanced white space and all of the deliciousness of pancakes at the same time.
This pancake mix package proves that good design and delicious pancakes do mix!
Sartell High School Dance Team Button
Here is a button that I designed for Sartell High School. They wanted it themed after the 1960's era music scene. One of the songs that they were dancing to was "The Peppermint Twist", so I incorporated a peppermint design for the button which is round, like a peppermint! Blue, white and silver are the school colors, which is why my peppermint is blue and white. The font seems like it could be from the 1960's. I had about one night to create it (I was a very last minute decision for the designer). They were going to just have the moms design it again, but my friend told them that I might do a better job.
